As a first step in your flight training, we offer 15-min, 30-min and 60-min introductory flights where you'll be participating in the take off, the maneuvering and the landing procedures performed by your Transport Canada Certified flight instructor. You can then decide if flying a trike is for you. Price: 15min - C$55* 30min - C$100* (10% savings) 60min - C$150* (33% savings) The format of a discovery flight may be customized to meet your individual needs. All our trikes are fitted with dual controls, so you will also be offered the chance to fly the aircraft yourself. If upon taking your first 15-min introductory flight you decide to enroll into our flight training course, your introductory flight is on us! We offer gift certificates for this service. Sunday afternoon is a perfect time for the discovery flight. Early Bird Discovery FlightsStarting from the 2007 Season, we offer our signature Early Bird Discovery Flights. Read more about this amazing activity.Tips for BeginnersWhen estimating the amount of time you're going to spend at the airfield, please add at least 30min to your Discovery Flight duration to take into the account the pre and the post flight briefings from the instructor as well as the dress-up time.For the cold weather flying we'll provide you with the flight suit. Please bring your own gloves. For the warmer weather bring a windproof jacket and the long pants (jeans are OK). Wear the shoes that are firmly attached to your feet. When you call to book your Discovery Flight please keep in mind that the best time to experience a smooth ride is usually early in the morning or in the late afternoon. The mid-day flights may feel a bit bumpy because of the thermals. You may take your camera with you on the Discovery Flight. Just make sure that it has a strap for securing it to your hand. For the groups, we recommend limiting the group size to 4-5 people, otherwise the wait time may spoil the fun. |
