The new Passenger-Carrying Endorsement effective December 1, 2005 allows an Ultralight Pilot Permit holder to carry non-pilot passengers in Advanced ultralights. The Endorsement does not apply for trike flying as trikes in Canada can presently be registered as Basic ultralights only.
